Refund Policy
1. Refunds
1.1 – Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
1.2 – To be eligible for a refund on digital products (such as downloadable e-books), we must be confident that there has not been any breach of our Terms of Service or intellectual property rights (such as the product being transferred to recipients other than the original purchaser). We reserve the right to request information from you that may assist us in determining this prior to processing your refund. If this information is not provided, wholly or satisfactorily, in the requested format, and within 2 business days of the request for information being sent by us, we may reject your request for a refund.
1.3 – We reserve the right to utilize copyright infringement and tracking software to ensure the protection and lawful and proper use of our intellectual property. If we find that our intellectual property is being, or has been, used in a manner other than what is specified in our Terms of Service we may reject your refund request and pursue payment for damages relating to the infringement. In this event, the matter may be referred to our lawyers.
1.4 – By obtaining a refund on digital products you are abolishing all rights to access or use the product for any purpose in the future – you agree not to access, reproduce, duplicate, copy, share, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the product without express written permission by us. You realize that failing to comply with this term by continuing to access or use the product in any form post-refund may result in us pursuing damages relating to infringements to our intellectual property rights and may be referred to our lawyers.
1.5 – We do not offer refunds on services provided by us unless explicitly stated by us at the point of sale. We cannot accurately guarantee that the results of services provided by us will meet the expectations of the client/purchaser in all instances, and therefore do not offer refund terms on services provided by us unless it can be shown by you, as the purchaser or client of our services, that we have not fulfilled our stated obligations of the service being offered. In this instance we may agree to process a refund request, at our sole discretion.
2. Sale items
2.1 – Our 30 day refund policy is only applicable to full-price purchases. If a purchase was made with a discount of up to 50% off the full-price amount, as stated on the main product page or home page of our website, we may choose to reject the request at our sole discretion. However, any applied discount of up to 50% that is advertised on the main product page or homepage of our website will include our standard refund policy.
2.2 – Applied discounts of up to 50% of the original purchase price generated as part of a promotion, either through our advertising efforts or one of our partners, that is greater than any discount currently being offered on the main product page or homepage of our website, may not be eligible for a 30 day refund period. Any sale with an applied discount greater than 50% of the FULL purchase price, as stated on the main product page or homepage of our website – whether the discount be promoted on our website, through our own marketing or advertising campaigns, or the promotional activities of our partners – will not be eligible for a refund.
2.3.1 – We may offer sale terms that include a partial payment upfront with the balance payable at a later date (split payment). In these instances the upfront partial payment will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
2.3.2 – If you contact us and request that the payment for the remaining balance be cancelled at least 5 business days before the charge is due to be made we will not charge you for the payable balance, so long as we are confident that there has not been any breach to our Terms of Service or infringement to our intellectual property rights.
2.3.3 – We reserve the right to investigate whether there has been any breach to our Terms of Service or intellectual property rights prior to cancelling the charge for the remaining balance or processing any refund of the balance payment. If our investigation involves a request for information from you and you fail to provide that information wholly and satisfactorily, in the requested format, and within 2 business days of the request for information being sent by us, we may reject your request to cancel the balance payment or request for a refund of the balance payment. If our investigation finds that you have breached our Terms of Service or intellectual property rights we may pursue payment for damages relating to the infringement. In this event, the matter may be referred to our lawyers
2.3.4 – When you enter into an agreement for a split payment sale our refund period will begin when the initial payment is made; any charges made for the balance of the goods or services provided that occur 30 days after the time of the initial charge, or requests for refunds of any balance payment submitted to us 30 days after the initial charge, will not be eligible for a refund or chargeback as we have given you ample time to decide whether you find the product to be satisfactory.
2.3.5 – Any chargebacks we receive for split payment sale balances that occur 30 days after the initial purchase time of a split payment sale will be contested by us and may result in us pursuing payment for damages, including bank charges and the cost of our legal fees, resulting from any breach to this policy by you.
3. Late or missing refunds
If we have agreed to process your refund and you haven’t received a refund within 5 business days of notification from us, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
